PRESENTER:
Robert Tudisco, Esq, criminal and
civil attorney;
columnist, Attention! magazine; editor,
addcopingskills.com
''There's an amusement park going on in my head,'' says our next
speaker, attorney Robert Tudisco. It's a place where ideas flash,
thoughts whirl -- and intentions can get taken for a ride.
And yet Mr. Tudisco has brought that carnival to some interesting
places. Among these are courtrooms, where he's made a career of
persuading juries as to the guilt, or innocence, of those on the
receiving end of criminal indictments. Tudisco's life -- and what
he's learned along the way about preparation, perseverance, humor,
exercise, self-perception, self-acceptance, and other topics --
will be the focus of his talk.
Mr. Tudisco earned his law degree from the Fordham University
School of Law. He then worked for four years, in the Bronx, as an
assistant prosecutor. He continues his work in criminal law -- but
on the defense side -- as a partner in the White Plains firm of
Marino & Tudisco, LLP. Most recently -- after his ADD diagnosis --
Tudisco branched into civil law, as an advocate and litigator on
behalf of children and others with special needs.
For a time, Mr. Tudisco served on the boards of local and national
ADD organizations. He continues to speak about ADD, and to write
about it: on his website (addcopingskills.com); and -- with an
emphasis on legal and parenting issues -- for magazines like
Attention! and ADDitude.
Mr.
Tudisco gave a dynamic presentation. As a leading advocate for the
ADD/ADHD community, he is in the rare position of being at
the forefront of events as they occur. He has
acted as consultant to CHADD, and has played a leading role in
changes & reforms within the ADD/ADHD community.
