TOPIC: 8 Essential Skills for Managing ADD

PRESENTER: Jennifer Koretsky, personal/professional coach

How can we limit our limitations? How can we stretch our strengths? For ADD adults, these are constant concerns. On December 2, we'll share suggestions -- self-awareness; self-pacing; self-care; risk-taking; planning; positive thinking -- as to what might work. Participation will be welcome.

Our discussion was led by coach Jennifer Koretsky, who'll provided worksheets, tips, and take-home exercises. While a marketer, Koretsky was diagnosed with ADD; which piqued an interest -- and led to a career change. A graduate of the ADD Coach Academy, Koretsky (http://addmanagement.com) now works with ADD adults in various walks of life. Her goal is to help clients "stop beating themselves up" and "move forward, instead of spinning their wheels."

Koretsky also serves on the Coaching Committee of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association, and writes for the ADDA newsletter, Focus. This will be her first appearance before the Support Group.
